Mystic Window
Look for the opportunity to be clear and direct, yet not pedantic or overpowering. A bright light can cast deep shadows and engender great fear in others. Soften your light but remain enduring. Cultivate optimism and a positive mental outlook on life.
Poem — Sifu John A. Fey
The double rising of the sun and moon Reveals a force flowing from the center That meets brightness with brightness
And leaves dark times behind.

Alchemic Wisdom — Yao Tsi (Line Verses)
Line 1
Walk slowly, deliberately, and reverently.
You will not misstep.
Line 2
Radiant colors of gold and yellow
Dancing from the fire
Ensures great abundance.
Line 3
The sun moves resolutely across the sky
And sets
Carrying the radiant Qi with it.
This is the natural way;
So it is with life.
An aged man approaches his own sunset.
Do not reminisce about the past.
Enjoy the approaching twilight.
Line 4
The flames suddenly flare brightly And, just as suddenly, die down.
The coming Qi is likened to a burning.
Line 5
Mourn and remember what has passed.
Proudly carry your loss.
Sigh and moan.
Abundance will appear.
Line 6
War is sometimes necessary.
The king uses it wisely.
He knows that death is a part of life.
