The double darkness of a gloomy rain
Conceals the need to flow from the heartmind
Amid the turning of the great wheel Unfettered by dangers and pit falls.
Danger, Intense, Snakes, Confinement, Waterfall, Entrapment, One hand and foot,

The pit is deep and foreboding.
To enter it is to enter an evil place.

The pit is very dangerous.
Seeking solace and advice from your soul
Is useless.

The pit is all around you
And you are bound to the dangerous Qi.
It does no good to confront the evil.

There is a way out of this evil place.
Sacrifice earthly energies
With both hands.
Embrace the Qi of illumination And you will save yourself.

Your perspective must change.
See the pit in a new light
And you will glimpse a way out of it

The only way out is fraught with danger.
