Mystic Window
Gather your strength and collect your life-force energy deep within. Seek inner nourishment.
Now is a good time for meditation and personal cultivation. Listen to your heart and it will reveal the weaknesses of any person or situation that approaches you. It is vitally important that, at this time, you keep your plans to yourselt.
Poem — Sifu John A. Fey
Fire plunging beneath the earth's surface
Finds fire center and bides the fire time.
A shining bird flying from the setting sun
Forms the image of
A bodymind enveloped by sun and moon brilliance.
Wounded man, Risk, Intelligence, Understanding, Bow and arrow, Barbarian
Alchemic Wisdom — Yao Tsi (Line Verses)
Line 1
Birds in flight vigorously
Reveal the Dragon's tail.
The brightest bird leaves the flock, Stretches its wings, and floats alone.
The elevated man fasts and walks for three days
Then, stops.
There is a place to go.
Line 2
The brightest bird is wounded.
It cannot rely upon the intuition for support.
Seek help from a strong horse And abundance will abound.
Line 3
The brightest bird turns south
And goes hunting.
The great hunter should accompany you.
Do not interpret the soul's dictates
Too quickly.
Be very mindful.
Line 4
Enter the belly of the brightest bird, Seize the heart of the moment And hold it up for all to see.
Line 5
Consult the oracle and make an offering To the spirits of the past.
The brightest bird's heart shines out Even when hidden behind a cloud.
Line 6
Brightness is gone and only darkness remains.
Honor the moment by
Stretching upwards to receive heaven
Then, extend downward into the earth.
