Mystic Window
Look for the opportunily to correct small evils that come your way. Be on alert for larger evils and notify the proper authorities when they appear. Conduct yourself with undeterred resolution of thought and firmness of action.
Poem — Sifu John A. Fey
Heavenly fires meet earthly thunder
While plumes of incense rise
And breech obstacles
To sacrificial meat, bones, and metal.

Alchemic Wisdom — Yao Tsi (Line Verses)
Line 1
The warrior's feet are imprisoned in stocks And his toes are injured to the bone.
Mistakes are avoided and
There is no fault.
Line 2
Bite through to the tender flesh And cut off the nose Of the offering
No error if you turn inward.
Line 3
Bite through the dried flesh and Encounter thickness and old age.
Regrets are small happenings
Without error.
Line 4
Bite into dried meat and bone And reveal the refined substance And riches of battle. Stand upright and strong
With a warrior's Qi And abundance will follow.
Line 5
Bite through the dried flesh and Encounter the refined substance
Of centered earth, Be wary as dangerous Qi approaches.
Line 6
He who is bound to the moment
Will wander lost and unnourished
In the upper world.
He can hear nothing
Of the approaching disaster.
Misfortune abounds from every quarter.
