Mystic Window
Look for opportunities to be optimistic and confident. Take the initiative in all affairs but do not boast or brag about past or future successes. Curb your current passions and identify with past experiences of personal significance.
Poem — Sifu John A. Fey
Thunder above the earth
Heralds the arrival of music That must be seen, as heard,
With sprouts reaching for its source.
Smooth, Graceful, Subdue, Tame, Elephant, Help, Donate
Alchemic Wisdom — Yao Tsi (Line Verses)
Line 1
Sounds that lift upward in delight
Signal unfortunate occurrences.
Qi that moves up
Must move down eventually.
Line 2
Embrace the Qi of solidity and firmness.
Be as still as a rock.
Without single-mindedness
The moment cannot be concluded.
The oracle calls for good fortune
To those unswerving of energy and spirit.
Line 3
Wide-eyed and astonished by pleasing spirits
Brings sadness, regrets, and sorrow.
Inaction in the presence of astonishment
Multiplies sorrow.
Line 4
Can you see the source of pleasure?
Gather subtle Qi at the crown of your head And reveal the perennial source of great
abundance.
Gather the like-minded amid the pleasure.
Line 5
Remain stretched between
The Qi of Heaven and the Qi of Earth.
Stand firm and upright.
Even in sickness, You will prevail.
Line 6
Embrace the Qi of mysterious pleasures and Moonless satisfaction that rises From the depths of shadow.
Immediately make a change And there will be no errors
Multiplies sorrow.
