The student's exposition of Taoist principles continues.
His poetic recitation, physical countenance, and quality of life-force form the basis for judging his level of mystic engagement and accomplishment.
1 MIND and BODY: Temper yourself with intuitive knowledge and awareness.
2 MIND and BODY: Courage and passion that is not guided by your soul will ultimately hurt you.
3 HEART: Cultivating the Tao heals and nourishes the bodymind of the Cultivator.
4 MIND: The intuitive mind knows precisely what you require at every moment. It knows this even before you do. It communicates to you in feelings, sensations, and mental images.
5 HEART and MIND: You cannot compel the wonders of the Tao to attend you. You must ask gently and respectfully without any attachment to the outcome.
6 HEART: The Tao that appears both spontaneous and planned is the true Tao.
7 BODY: This stanza describes the outward appearance and behavior of a Cultivator of the Tao Source.
8 HEART: The Tao Source is constantly sanctifying and puritying us.
9 HEART: Every particle of existence is part of every other particle of existence. We are all connected to one
another. We are all connected to every single thing in the universe. Everyone you meet is, in reality, your self.
10 MIND: Regarding every one and every thing that you encounter as being a reflection of yourself fundamentally alters your consciousness. In this altered state, you will experience a state of unobstructed communion with the Tao Source.
